The construction project for the future Emirates French Hospital in Abu Dhabi aims to achieve a synthesis of the architectural and hospital care cultures of its two countries. The façades exhibit an expansive, supple yet elegant movement, combining the light reflected from its vertical glass and aluminium lines with a French-style vertical garden. At the centre of the building, a naturally ventilated atrium forms a focal point of freshness as well as a haven of tranquillity. The building's structural design, a bold move for a project which demands a rigorous approach to functionality, highlights the architectural ambitions of its designers.
